The Company

Enrique J. Muzzio manufactures rubber items as well as equipment for the food, chemical and beverage industries.

Its origin dates from fifty years ago upon the initiative of its owner, who began manufacturing grease fittings that incorporated rubber parts.

In order to satisfy the zone’s market increasing demand of rubber items, the company evolution turned since then exclusively to this field of production.

Since 1992, the company strengthened its position as a supplier of accessories for the food industry (dairy plants, meat-processing firms, milk farmers’ cooperatives). In 1996, the company became a representative for the French firm “Trelleborg”, incorporating hoses and raccords to its products line.

In 2000, EJM launched a new product of its own manufacture, to the market: a wide range of Flexible Rotor Sanitary Pumps with capacities beyond 80,000 liters/hour at low speeds and maximum pressures of up to 3,5 kg/cm2. The high level of technology applied in their manufacture and the proper way in which those pumps handle the products to be transferred, make of them excellent quality units.

The growth experimented by the company all along the last fifty years allowed EJM to become a supplier for large dairy plants, breweries and wineries both domestic and in South America. The firm may be considered as a reliable reference source in the field of use of rubber items in contact with food.
